NEW YORK – January 10, 2024 – iHeartPodcasts, the No. 1 podcast publisher globally according to Podtrac, today announced “The Why with Dwyane Wade” -- a new original podcast series hosted by NBA Hall of Famer, three-time NBA Champion, and entrepreneur, Dwyane Wade. Premiering on Wednesday, January 17, the debut two-part episode will feature a candid roundtable conversation with Wade’s fellow Basketball Hall of Fame inductees Dirk Nowitzki, Tony Parker and Pau Gasol. The group will cover a range of topics including personal challenges amongst themselves, the Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat rivalry, their experiences as rookies, and what really makes someone a GOAT. Each week on “The Why with Dwyane Wade,” the NBA legend will sit down with pioneers in sports, fashion, music and business for an intimate conversation about their rise to success and the reasons they keep pushing to innovate. These all-time greats, who are interesting and inspiring to Dwyane, talk through memorable moments from their careers and personal journeys, including their struggles and triumphs, as well as share their excitement as they push forward to their next challenge. Guests will include Carmelo Anthony, Rick Ross, Pat Riley, David Grutman, Lindsey Vonn and more.
