The series will bring together two of the most influential Latino journalists in the U.S. for their first-ever podcast and co-hosted video series.

“The Moment” is a multigenerational conversation between legendary journalist Jorge Ramos and acclaimed author and MSNBC contributor Paola Ramos. Together, this Emmy-award winning father-daughter duo will sit down with politicians, artists, activists, journalists and other top thinkers to tackle the issues of today with raw, unfiltered conversations and a distinctly Latino point of view. Andrea Bowen has spent the last 28+ years performing on both stage and screen.  Best known for her role as Julie Mayer on Desperate Housewives, Andrea’s career began much earlier on Broadway, where she made history as the youngest actress to play Cosette during Les Miserables’s 16 year run, going on to originate roles in two more Broadway musicals before moving to Los Angeles, where she continues to thrive in television, film, voiceover and theatre.

Emerson Tenney is a Los Angeles-based writer and director crafting bold, character-driven stories in animation and live action. A Brown University graduate, Emerson creates work that blends empathy, comedy, and a sharp literary voice.  Her directorial debut, Vibrantea, won Best Animated Short Film at the BAFTA-qualifying 2025 Manchester International Film Festival, marking her arrival as a fresh voice in animation. Emerson is currently writing an animated feature with a critically acclaimed director.

Meet the finalists of Next Up: LIVE Music, presented by TikTok and iHeartRadio

TikTok has announced the 12 finalists of Next Up: LIVE Music, TikTok’s new LIVE singing competition in partnership with iHeartRadio. On September 26, they’ll take the stage at the iHeartRadio Los Angeles Theater performing live for fans and industry experts as they compete — with one winner ultimately crowned the first-ever Next Up: LIVE Music champion at the grand finale.

Since July, thousands of voices across the country have shared their talent on TikTok, turning music discovery into a truly interactive, community-driven journey. Fans cheered for contestants from the virtual front row, teaming up with our semi-finalist judges, Justina Valentine (Wild 'N Out host) and EJ (iHeartRadio Los Angeles 102.7 KIIS FM host), to determine who would advance.

"Seeing the incredible Fan Club and community support these finalists have built through TikTok LIVE is truly inspiring.   2. @damoyee (Dallas, TX): DAMOYEE is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and producer from Dallas. She creates original music across genres and shares her self-composed, self-produced process online.
  3. @dueceflame (Los Angeles, CA): Duece Flame is a Houston-born artist known for freestyle sessions on TikTok, where he turns fan suggestions into spontaneous verses. His performances showcase creativity, energy, and inspiration.
  4. @iammichaelanderson (Los Angeles, CA): Michael Anderson is a singer-songwriter who blends soulful R&B with modern pop vocals to create a unique musical atmosphere. Through his LIVE performances, he has built a vibrant community of fans while spotlighting his original music.
  5. @jademillion (Nashville, TN): Jade Million is an independent artist building a career on her own terms. Her music balances vulnerability and confidence, while her brand expands into fashion and fearless self-expression.
  6. @kerenmachadoofficial (Sarasota, FL): Keren Machado is a Cuban-born singer-songwriter. On TikTok LIVE, she shares her music daily with a global audience and hopes to reach even wider listeners.
  7. @kiralise (Los Angeles, CA): Kira Lise is a singer-songwriter from Orange County who rose to fame on TikTok LIVE. Emerging from folk roots into indie rock, she’s cultivated a worldwide audience, has signed to her first record label, and continues to make music true to her real life experiences.
  8. @kozarkane (Delray Beach, FL): Kozarkane is a freestyle rapper and singer known for sharp lyrics and electrifying performances. He blends freestyle skill with melodic hooks for a raw, authentic sound.
  9. @samanthasingsit (Bellville, OH): Samantha Davis is an alternative pop artist from Ohio whose music blends storytelling with modern sounds. Her raw honesty and energetic performances connect small-town roots to a wide audience.
  10. @sammyarriaga (Nashville, TN): Sammy Arriaga is a Cuban American artist blending country and Latin music. With over 2M followers, he’s known for his authentic storytelling and is now signed to Dead Rose Records with Walk Off Entertainment.
  11. @thecyrilia (Amarillo, TX): The Cyrilia is a versatile Caribbean artist bringing more than 20 genres to life. Through her music and stage presence, she inspires healing and hope for those overcoming adversity.
  12. @themariahfaith (Nashville, TN): Mariah Faith is a country artist blending country, blues, and rock. Raised in Conway, SC, she gained national attention as a Top 20 finalist on American Idol Season 21.

NEW YORK – September 3, 2025 – Pushkin Industries (pushkin.fm) announced today its fall 2025 programming slate, featuring an extensive lineup of new originals and the return of multiple fan-favorite series. Additionally, Pushkin Industries and iHeartMedia today announced the extension of their highly successful podcast partnership.

The upcoming launches will deliver the premium and in-depth storytelling for which Pushkin Industries is known, including a new limited series from Malcolm Gladwell’s award-winning “Revisionist History” that examines the cascading failures of capital punishment in America through the lens of an infamous Alabama case; the return of Jonathan Goldstein’s “Heavyweight,” which recently joined Puskin’s ranks; a new true crime series “The Chinatown Sting”; and Leon Neyfakh’s “Fiasco” (one of TIME’s 100 Best Podcasts of All Time) returns to tackle Benghazi.

Also coming October 14, Pushkin will re-release Michael Lewis’s best-selling book “The Big Short” as an audiobook, narrated by the author for the first time. In addition, Lewis is set to host a companion series on his popular podcast “Against the Rules,” also launching October 14, exploring how the events detailed in the book led to what we see happening in U.S. politics more than a decade later. The audiobook and podcast release comes as the lauded film adaptation starring Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, and Brad Pitt celebrates its 10th anniversary. “The Big Short” famously explores the causes of the 2008 financial crash and those that realized it was happening well before the rest of the world.

The announcement of the new slate of series comes as Pushkin renews its successful partnership with iHeartMedia. Originally announced in November 2020, the renewed deal will see iHeart continuing to serve as the exclusive sales and distribution partner for Pushkin Industries’ full catalog of award-winning premium podcasts including the shows announced in the Fall 2025 slate. Pushkin and iHeartMedia will also co-produce new projects as part of the partnership with additional shows to be announced.

Host Leon Neyfakh (“Slow Burn”) transports listeners into the day-to-day reality of our country’s most pivotal historical events, bringing to life the forgotten twists and turns of the past while shedding light on the present. In the new season, Neyfakh takes a hard look at the 2012 attack on the US diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya and the ramifications it had on everything from social media to world politics. 

In the late 1980s, a group of women connected through the mahjong parlors in Manhattan’s Chinatown were caught in a massive undercover drug bust. But this bust was just the beginning of an even bigger case. Host Lidia Jean Kott and co-reporter Shuyu Wang interview sources who’ve never spoken on record before—including witnesses, defendants, and federal prosecutors—to reconstruct a case that still has repercussions today.
