NEW YORK, N.Y. – December 22, 2023 – iHeartMedia celebrated new music and artists recently, including the latest ‘On The Verge’ artists and a special TV broadcast of the 2023 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball.
In December, iHeartMedia named Ashley Cooke as its latest ‘On The Verge’ Country artist with her single "Your Place,” and Teddy Swims as the latest ‘On The Verge’ CHR artist with his single "Lose Control.” iHeartMedia’s ‘On The Verge’ program helps build awareness for up-and-coming artists through its radio airplay reach and historically, all ‘On The Verge’ artists have charted in the top 30, with more than half landing in the top 10 and over a third claiming the No. 1 chart slot. Success stories of ‘On The Verge’ Country and CHR artists who have reached No. 1 include Luke Combs with “Hurricane” and Lainey Wilson with “Things a Man Oughta Know,” as well as Steve Lacy with “Bad Habit” and Olivia Rodrigo with “driver’s license.”
The 2023 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour Presented by Capital One wrapped up in Sunrise, Fla. on Sunday, December 16 after a successful cross-country tour with stops in America’s biggest cities. To celebrate, ABC and iHeartMedia teamed up for the “iHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2023” holiday special featuring performances from the Madison Square Garden concert in New York City and the Forum concert in Los Angeles. The special included select performances by this year’s biggest artists, including Olivia Rodrigo, SZA, Niall Horan, OneRepublic, Sabrina Carpenter, Jelly Roll, Doechii, Paul Russell, Melanie Martinez, David Kushner, AJR, Pentatonix, Big Time Rush and a very special performance from Cher. The exclusive television broadcast aired on Thursday, December 21 on ABC and is now available on Hulu.
