WHO: Sarah Spain is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning sports journalist who has been a jack of all trades in her dozen-plus years at ESPN, working as a radio and podcast host, television personality, producer and writer. A former college heptathlete, Spain is a longtime reporter and supporter of women’s sports, helping break down barriers in mainstream sports coverage. A member of the Gatorade Women’s Advisory Board and former minority owner of the Chicago Red Stars, she always puts her money where her mouth is when it comes to elevating women and women’s sports.
The Women’s Sports Audio Network (WSAN) spotlights and celebrates the athletes who move, entertain and inspire in the game and in their personal lives.
