Dennis Lamme Named Market President for Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Washington, D.C./Baltimore

Washington, D.C./Baltimore – December 20, 2012 – Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Washington, D.C./Baltimore today announced that Dennis Lamme has been named Market President, effective immediately.  Lamme will report to Tom Schurr, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment’s President of Operations for its Major Markets. 

Lamme has been with Clear Channel Media and Entertainment for more than 15 years and joins the market from Clear Channel Philadelphia, where he has served as President and Market Manager since February 2012.  He also previously held senior market leadership positions within Clear Channel Media and Entertainment in the Pittsburgh, St. Louis and Albany markets.   He began his career in St. Joseph, MO, where his radio career started more than 30 years ago and since then he has held various radio management positions in California, Colorado, Illinois, Missouri, New York and Nevada.  Lamme has been recognized in the “Who’s Who in Advertising” and actively served on the Board of Directors for the New York, Missouri and Pennsylvania State Broadcast Associations.

As Market President, Lamme will be responsible for all aspects of the Washington, D.C./Baltimore market’s operations including all strategies, programming and sales initiatives.  He will leverage Clear Channel’s assets including its brands and audience to create new revenue opportunities.  Lamme will also oversee all station activities and events, such as the recent Hot 99 FM’s Jingle Ball, to help drive sales and achieve revenue targets.

Additional Proceeds Continue to be Raised Through On-Going Event Merchandise Sales; Online Auction of Exclusively Signed Memorabilia;
U.S. Network Broadcast of Concert; and Future iTunes, DVD and CD Sales

NEW YORK, NY - December 18, 2012 – The producers of the “12-12-12” concert, which was presented by Chase, announced that the Robin Hood Foundation will distribute the first $50M of initial proceeds for “12-12-12” to organizations helping to aid victims of Hurricane Sandy. Fundraising efforts have included ticket sales, sponsorships, telephone and web donations and merchandise with additional money still coming in and being distributed to aid the victims of Hurricane Sandy.  Additional “12-12-12” contributions and proceeds from online auctions of exclusively signed memorabilia, iTunes sales - which peaked at #1 on the iTunes chart as a pre-order, U.S. network broadcast of concert, DVD and CD sales, as well as continuing merchandise sales and additional revenue streams are expected.
 
The event producers issued the following joint statement: “The historic ‘12-12-12’ concert to benefit the victims of Hurricane Sandy was the largest concert event to ever hit the stage at Madison Square Garden, featuring the biggest names in music and the world’s leading entertainers. We are forever grateful to the unlimited generosity that was shown to the people of the tri-state area from around the world. Through the collective efforts of the participating artists, celebrities, corporate partners and sponsors we will be able to make a meaningful difference for so many of our neighbors who were affected across the tri-state area. We thank everyone who made the event a resounding success.”
 
Thanks to the generosity of concert organizers, sponsors, and Robin Hood’s board of directors, every single penny from ticket purchases and donations will go to organizations serving the victims of Hurricane Sandy through the Robin Hood Relief Fund.  The Robin Hood Relief Fund provides money, material and know-how to local organizations that are serving families and individuals in the regions hardest hit by the storm.
 
“The money raised to date is going right to hundreds of organizations in the tri-state area serving those who need it most. Robin Hood has already begun granting the funds for Sandy relief. NEW YORK, NY– Monday, December 3, 2012 –The producers of “12-12-12” announced today that the concert at Madison Square Garden on December 12, 2012, at 7:30 PM (ET), to aid the victims of Hurricane Sandy, has secured distribution to over one billion people. The concert will be able to be seen on 34 US networks and television feeds worldwide, radio and online streaming. “12-12-12”, which is presented by Chase, will be distributed across networks and feeds in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. Tickets to “12-12-12” went on sale today.

Event producers James Dolan, John Sykes and Harvey Weinstein issued the following joint statement: “The fact that so many major media companies are joining forces to distribute and stream this important event to homes worldwide will enable us to create a tremendous and unprecedented fundraising effort on a global scale to benefit the victims of this devastating storm.”

With every major U.S. media company airing the benefit on at least one of their networks, 34 channels will “take over” TV for the night. Clear Channel Media and Entertainment will broadcast the concert live on its radio stations across the country, and will also video stream live on iHeartRadio, Clear Channel’s digital radio service, and across the websites and Facebook pages of its 850 stations. In addition, the concert will also stream live across several major online video providers, as well as being streamed and promoted by several digital media partners. The concert will also air in conjunction with the NBA’s television and online streaming broadcasts in China and simulcast live on Clear Channel Outdoor digital billboards in Times Square, New York City and locations in London and Paris.

Iconic performers Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Dave Grohl, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Roger Waters, Eddie Vedder, Kanye West, The Who and Paul McCartney will perform at the “12-12-12” concert on December 12, 2012 at Madison Square Garden.

The concert is being produced by James Dolan, Executive Chairman of The Madison Square Garden Company; John Sykes, President of Clear Channel Entertainment Enterprises; and Harvey Weinstein, Co-Founder and Chairman of The Weinstein Company.

NEW YORK, NY, November 27, 2012 –Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, The Madison Square Garden Company and The Weinstein Company announced today that Bon Jovi, Dave Grohl and Eddie Vedder will be joining the esteemed lineup of artists of the “12-12-12” concert on December 12, 2012 at Madison Square Garden, with proceeds to benefit the Robin Hood Relief Fund. Tickets to this one-night-only special event will go on sale on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 12 p.m. (ET). The all-star lineup includes, Jon Bon Jovi who will now be performing with Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Roger Waters, Kanye West and The Who, with other top artists to be announced. The concert will be presented by Chase.
