iHeartMedia Names Don Parker General Manager For PRIDE Radio

NEW YORK – June 11, 2019 – iHeartMedia announced today that Don Parker has been named General Manager for iHeartRadio’s PRIDE Radio, The Pulse of LGBTQ America, effective immediately. In addition, Parker will continue his role as Regional Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia’s Northern California Region.

iHeartRadio’s PRIDE Radio brings the best of music and programming to the LGBTQ+ community and its allies around the nation and is featured on the iHeartRadio app and 18 HD2 stations, reaching 9 out of 10 LBGTQ+ consumers every month. PRIDE Radio is also hosted by seven leading LGBTQ+ personalities and features a dynamic blend of music alongside its signature LGBTQ+ Audio Vignette series with top music artists such as the Chainsmokers, Ariana Grande, Sam Smith, Lizzo and the Backstreet Boys and influencers.

As General Manager for PRIDE Radio, Parker will oversee the day-to-day programming, marketing, sales and operations of PRIDE Radio and help further expand the brand’s reach and business development to the LGBTQ+ community on the iHeartRadio app and HD2 stations across the country.  Additionally, iHeartMedia will soon conduct a national search for a program director for PRIDE Radio, reporting into Parker.

He began his career at KBOS in Fresno, California.

iHeartMedia Names Andrew L. Dahm Chief Privacy Officer

(PINK: IHRTQ), announced today that Brian Coleman will become Chief Financial Officer of Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Inc. (CCOH) when the company becomes a standalone public company upon iHeartMedia’s emergence from its previously announced restructuring process.

 

Coleman, an experienced financial and operating executive who currently serves as Senior Vice President and Treasurer of iHeartMedia, Inc., oversees the treasury, cash management and risk management functions for both iHeartMedia and CCOH and is directly responsible for management of the companies’ capital structure, liability management and liquidity.  In this new role, Coleman’s new responsibilities as CFO of CCOH will include assisting in the development of global financial strategy for each of the company’s operating divisions; leading all global financial functions, including liquidity management and tax strategies; supporting the capital allocation process; leading all M&A activities; and managing the company’s investor relations strategy, including equity and debt capital market communications.  He will report to William Eccleshare, who will serve as CEO of CCOH upon the companies’ separation.

 

The company also announced today that Lynn Feldman, currently serving as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of CCOH’s Clear Channel Outdoor Americas (CCOA) division, will become Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of CCOH when it becomes a standalone company.  Feldman will advise CCOH’s new Board of directors and senior leadership team on all major transactions, litigation, financial strategies and other critical initiatives; be responsible for the development and execution of the legal strategy and operations that support the company’s business plans; and lead the company’s compliance program.  Feldman, who in this new role will report to William Eccleshare, will also continue in her role as General Counsel for CCOA.  Adam Tow will continue as General Counsel of the International division, reporting into William Eccleshare.

New York – September 10, 2018 – iHeartMedia announced today that its National Programming Group has elevated respected programming veteran Rod Phillips to the new position of Executive Vice President of Country Programming Strategy, effective immediately. He will continue to report to Tom Poleman, Chief Programming Officer for iHeartMedia, and Brad Hardin, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the iHeartMedia National Programming Group.

iHeartCountry has more than 150 Country broadcast radio stations across the U.S. reaching more than 110 million Country music listeners per month, making it the largest Country broadcast radio group in America.  In his new role, Phillips will continue to lead the Nashville-based iHeartCountry team in overseeing iHeartMedia’s Country formats, and further extend the company’s Country brands across multiple platforms including broadcast, digital, social and live events. iHeartMedia Announces New Long-Term Contract With Thea Mitchem to Extend Her Role As Executive Vice President for its National Programming Group

New York, NY – February 6, 2018 – iHeartMedia announced today a long-term contract extension with noted programming and company veteran Thea Mitchem to continue her role in its National Programming Group as Executive Vice President of Programming for its Northeast Division.
