iHeartMedia’s My Cultura Podcast Network and Bad Bunny’s Rimas Sports Announce New Podcast Production and Original Content Collaboration Spanning Sports and Latin Culture
Professional baseball outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. to host first show coming early 2026
New York – February 5, 2026 – iHeartMedia, the No. 1 podcast publisher according to Podtrac, and Rimas Sports, Bad Bunny’s premiere sports management and brand alliance agency, today announced a new partnership to produce original podcasts and content for My Cultura, iHeart’s podcast network dedicated to elevating Latino voices and stories. The first show from the collaboration will debut early 2026 featuring MLB’s 2025 Comeback Player of the Year and Rimas talent Ronald Acuña Jr.
Rimas Sports – co-founded by the Latin superstar Bad Bunny and Rimas Entertainment executives Noah Assad and Jonathan Miranda – creates media content around sports, music and more, covering every base of Latin sports and entertainment worldwide. Launched in 2023, the Puerto Rican sports agency is dedicated to building the next generation of great Latin American athletes. Their roster of talent spans over 45 elite athletes across a variety of sports including MLB superstar Fernando Tatis Jr.; world No. 1 ranked padel player Agustín Tapia; Colombian motorsports legend Juan Pablo Montoya alongside rising star Sebastian Montoya; and 2025 WBO light middleweight world champion Xander Zayas. In February 2026, the agency will officially expand into the NFL, welcoming its first class of NFL athletes and marking a major milestone in its evolution across global sports.
“I’m super pumped about this! You know I love baseball, but I also love everything about being Latino, our vibe, the music that moves us, our family stories, and all the struggles we face every day,” said Acuña. “This podcast is my chance to open up, talk straight about the good stuff, the tough stuff, and what inspires us. Plus, it’s a chance to kick it with people I really respect and who have a lot to share. I want everyone listening to feel like they’re just hanging out with me, ‘cause that’s how I see my community. I’m ready to get started and show something real, something that really represents who we are.”
“We’re excited to join iHeartMedia’s My Cultura for a podcast that goes beyond sports—covering culture, family and the stories that connect us as Latinos,” said Alejandro Padrón, Director at Rimas Sports. “Having Ronald Acuña lead the first show marks the start of authentic conversations that inspire and bring fans closer to the talent and vision of our athletes.”
“Sports aren’t just something the Latino community watches, it's something we live,” said Leo Gomez, head of iHeartMedia’s My Cultura Podcast Network. “Sports are part of the culture, heritage and legacy that is woven into who we are. Partnering with Rimas Sports on amazing audio content curated by Bad Bunny and his team will allow us to bring sports and pop-culture icons like Ronald to listeners everywhere and share richer stories about how Latinos experience, elevate and redefine sports every day."

iHeartPodcasts, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, G-Unit Audio and Narratively Team with Jadakiss on Definitive New DMX Podcast Series
Launching in June, “Look Thru My Eyes: Becoming DMX” will uncover the untold origin story of the hip-hop icon, told by those who knew him best
NEW YORK — January 23, 2026 — iHeartPodcasts, the No. 1 podcast publisher globally, has partnered with Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s G-Unit Audio and award-winning podcast studio and storytelling company Narratively to produce Look Thru My Eyes: Becoming DMX, a groundbreaking new narrative podcast series exploring the early life and rise of the late, legendary artist DMX. The new series will be available on the iHeartRadio app and everywhere podcasts are heard later this year.
Hosted by Yonkers native and hip-hop icon Jadakiss, the series takes listeners back to a time before the world knew DMX — when Earl Simmons was a young, fiercely talented artist hustling, battling, and surviving his way through Yonkers, New York. Through intimate, firsthand accounts from family members, childhood friends, collaborators, rivals, and cultural icons, the multi-episode series offers unprecedented access to the formative years that shaped one of the most influential and complicated figures in music history.
Executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Noah Rosenberg, Bruce Miller, Justin Baez and Paul Anderson, “Look Thru My Eyes: Becoming DMX” is a deeply personal and immersive exploration of legacy, struggle, faith, addiction, raw talent, and survival — told by the people who lived it alongside X.
“DMX’s story is bigger than the music — it’s about survival, faith, pain, and purpose,” said Jackson. “’Look Thru My Eyes: Becoming DMX’ gives people a chance to understand where X came from, before the fame, through the voices of the people who were really there. This is the story that shaped the legend.”
Miller and Baez, both Yonkers natives with deep personal ties to DMX and his family, bring unmatched authenticity to the project. Their lived connection to the city — and to X’s enduring impact on it — grounds the series in the community that shaped him long before fame.
“DMX’s story is inseparable from Yonkers,” said Miller. “And his legacy is the lifeblood of hip hop.”
“This is a dream project for all of us,” said Rosenberg, Co-Founder and CEO of Narratively. “Narratively’s commitment has always been about celebrating untold human stories, and the opportunity to uncover the origin story of an icon like DMX — alongside partners as iconic as 50, Jadakiss, and iHeart — is one we’re incredibly proud to be a part of.”
The series is produced by Narratively, G-Unit Audio, Blue Light Media, and 1982 Media, in association with Workhouse Media.
Narratively serves as the lead creative and production partner, overseeing development and production. Founded by former New York Times journalists, Narratively is a podcast studio and creator community known for originating distinctive narrative projects and adapting authentic nonfiction IP into premium audio, film, and television, with partners including Amazon, NPR, and Warner Bros., and collaborators such as LeBron James and Emma Roberts.
The project, launching later this year, is showrun by Drew Nelles, a veteran audio producer whose credits include marquee podcasts for iHeartMedia, Sony, and Gimlet Media.
A defining force in modern storytelling, Jackson continues to expand his cultural footprint across film, television, and audio. His recent four-part Netflix docuseries “Sean Combs: The Reckoning” debuted at No. 1 and drew an estimated 22 million views in its opening weekend, and his podcast “Surviving El Chapo: The Twins Who Brought Down a Drug Lord,” produced with iHeartPodcasts, became a breakout hit.
“We’re proud to partner with G-Unit Audio and Narratively on this incredible project exploring the life of a hip-hop icon,” said Will Pearson, President, iHeartPodcasts. “Bringing this new series to the iHeart platform allows us to use our massive scale and reach to share DMX’s story with fans around the world, honoring his cultural impact on the music industry.”
“Look Thru My Eyes: Becoming DMX” will unfold across an expansive first season chronicling Earl Simmons’ early life, artistic emergence, and rise to cultural dominance, with future seasons envisioned to explore the origin stories of other iconic artists.
“We are thrilled to partner with 50 Cent and Narratively in telling the DMX story. Put on your seatbelt,” said Anderson, whose Workhouse Media is a leading audio-first multi-platform talent and content management and production company working across radio, podcasting, television and digital.
The deal was negotiated by Anderson of Workhouse Media on behalf of Jackson and Narratively in partnership with IAG. Jackson is represented by IAG, AKR Public Relations, and attorney Steve Savva.
“Look Thru My Eyes: Becoming DMX” is distributed by iHeartPodcasts.

iHeartPodcasts and Rider Strong Unveil “The Red Weather” Podcast, an Autofiction Exploration of Memory, Mystery and the 90s
LOS ANGELES, CA — January 22, 2026 — iHeartPodcasts today announced it is partnering with actor, filmmaker and podcaster Rider Strong (Boy Meets World, Cabin Fever) to launch his new audio series, “The Red Weather.” This innovative 8-episode autofiction podcast, inspired by Strong's initial work on a documentary about communes in and around his hometown of Sebastopol, California, masterfully blends a fictional true-crime mystery with a profoundly personal real-life narrative. The series will premiere with its first two episodes on January 28, with episodes launching twice weekly thereafter. Listen to the official audio trailer now, HERE.
“‘The Red Weather’ started with me grabbing a microphone and asking old friends about kids we knew who grew up in so-called ‘cults,’” said Rider Strong. “As the memories piled up, I wanted to find the best way to draw listeners into that unique time and place. I’m excited to team up with iHeart to bring this deeply personal project to audiences everywhere.”
The fictional investigative podcast will interrogate true-crime conventions, unreliable narration and the ethics of storytelling — all driven by a 1995 cold case. Strong, playing himself, will delve into the disappearance of his best friend's sister, Anna Trainor, from a commune in 1995. The central crime is fictitious, yet the recorded interviews with real family and friends, along with the exploration of Rider’s own past, make for a deeply authentic audio experience and personal journey. Featuring documentary-style recordings with actors on location, “The Red Weather” will create a unique blend of reality and scripted drama, exploring themes of ‘90s nostalgia, the pitfalls of alternative parenting and misogyny.
“The concept behind ‘The Red Weather’ is truly unique, blurring the lines between what is real and what is masterful storytelling in a way that draws the listener in, providing them a glimpse into what life was like during Rider’s formative years,” said Will Pearson, President of iHeartPodcasts. “Part fiction, part true crime and part autobiographical, this podcast will captivate audiences.”
The cast of “The Red Weather” includes Strong’s parents, his son, his brother Shiloh, as well as actor and director Jon Huertas (This is Us), Rachel Marsh (The Morning Show) and Heidi Sulzman (Hell or High Water). Additionally, Kyle Morton, lead singer and creative visionary behind indie-rock band Typhoon composed all original music for the series.
“The Red Weather” is distributed by iHeartPodcasts and will be available on the iHeartRadio app and everywhere podcasts are heard.

The only show co-hosted by active players from both the WNBA and NBA,
“Game Recognize Game with Stewie and Myles” will bring Stewart and Turner together for honest conversations about basketball, culture and everything in between, on and off the court—where the WNBA and NBA worlds meet, and the game is discussed by two of professional basketball’s most thoughtful voices.
"This has never been done before,” said Turner. “An NBA player and a WNBA player, both active players at that, who can give our perspectives. People can lean on us for anything they want to know about the sport, the lifestyle, the game, the culture – this is the place to come."
"There's a few topics that Myles and I are definitely going to butt heads about, said Stewart. “The cats versus dog situation, UConn versus Texas. I know he's like into yoga and all of that, and I'm just working on my flexibility, but I can't wait to really dissect it all. See if he can change my mind about some things, but not about UConn and not about the cats!"
In the debut episode of “Game Recognize Game,” the co-hosts will dive into the meaning behind the phrase that defines the show, the story of how they first met and early hoops memories - including the WNBA game where Stewie admits she truly got “cooked.”
The two will also discuss leadership and respect, with Myles naming the best leader he’s ever played with and Stewie spotlighting the most underrated player in the WNBA, as well as parenting advice and even LEGO culture.
“Game Recognize Game with Stewie and Myles” is distributed by iHeartPodcasts and will be available on the iHeartRadio app and everywhere podcasts are heard.
