"From the time I was a wee baby boy, in fact before I ever uttered my first words, I have always dreamt of assembling a team of comedians as funny and talented as the Big Money Players Circle,” said Ferrell. “Now, to officially announce the Circle over the RADIO WAVES -- which mankind has used to announce such momentous occasions as the first man landing on the moon, Dan Quayle's VP Nomination and the score of last night's LAFC game -- is a dream bigger than Baby Will could have ever dreamt."

“iHeartMedia’s partnership with Will Ferrell and his team around the Big Money Players podcast network has produced some of the smartest, most innovative comedy in the medium today, as we grow the audiences of existing shows like ‘Las Culturistas’ – as well as launch a new wave of comedians into podcasting like ‘Straightiolab,’ ” said Conal Byrne, CEO of iHeartMedia Digital Audio Group. “The Big Money Players Circle is the latest extension of the brand – from podcasting into social media – where we’re excited to support and grow a whole new wave of next-generation talent as well. And, we are thrilled that Straight Talk Wireless recognizes the power of comedy and has joined us as the exclusive launch partner of our Big Money Players Circle.”

The comedy takeover will give listeners across America a taste of the unmatched comedic talent on the BMP podcast network. Introduced by Will Ferrell himself and featuring Ellie Kemper, host of BMP’s “Born to Love,” the special will broadcast some of the funniest BMP podcast moments featuring its biggest stars. The event will be hosted by Bobby Bones, Mario Lopez and Tanya Rad and EJ and will mark the first time iHeartMedia features comedians in a dedicated radio takeover program. Straight Talk Wireless will serve as the exclusive presenting sponsor.

The launch comes ahead of the “Big Money Players Circle LIVE with Straight Talk Wireless” showcase set to take center stage during the 2023 New York Comedy Festival in New York City at the Hard Rock Hotel on November 12. Circle inductees will be featured alongside BMP’s most popular hosts during the event, bringing together some of the most hilarious talent all on one stage.

“Straight Talk is a brand known for giving it to you straight, by making it easy and simple for people to save money on wireless,” said Cheryl Gresham, VP and Chief Marketing Officer of the Verizon Value organization. “And nobody gives it to you straighter than comedians, who always reveal a little bit of truth in their humor. That’s why we’re thrilled to be a part of The Big Money Players Comedy Hour and help give voice to new unique comedic content.”

iHeartPodcasts Premieres All-New Season of  ‘You and Me Both with Hillary Clinton’

Listen Now HERE

WHAT: iHeartPodcasts today premiered the all-new season of “You and Me Both with Hillary Clinton.” Hillary is back! This season, as always, she'll be having candid, thought-provoking and sometimes humorous conversations with people she admires. She'll also be talking to her guests about one of her favorite subjects: getting things done. We’ll hear from folks in positions of power, like Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey, but also athletes, authors, artists, and activists who are doing the work.

In today’s season premiere, Clinton has an illuminating conversation with Hakeem Jeffries, the Democratic leader of the U.S. House of Representatives who is a great cheerleader for the Democratic Party's accomplishments: from FDR, all the way to the present.

WHO: Hillary Rodham Clinton has spent four decades in public service as an advocate, attorney, First Lady, U.S. Senator, U.S. Secretary of State, and presidential candidate. As 67th U.S. Secretary of State, her "smart power" approach to foreign policy repositioned American diplomacy and development for the 21st century. Clinton played a central role in restoring America’s standing in the world, reasserting the United States as a Pacific power, imposing crippling sanctions on Iran and North Korea, responding to the Arab Awakening, and negotiating a ceasefire in the Middle East. Earlier, as First Lady and Senator for New York, she traveled to more than 80 countries as a champion of human rights, democracy, and opportunities for women and girls. iHeartPodcasts and Imagine Audio Launch New True Crime Podcast, “Peter and the Acid King” – the True Story of the Unsolved Death of Punk Icon Peter Ivers

WHAT: iHeartPodcasts and Imagine Audio today debuted “Peter and the Acid King,” a punk true-crime podcast that takes listeners on a deep dive through the grimy, chaotic world of the Los Angeles punk scene in the early ’80s and the brutal murder of New Wave Theater TV host Peter Ivers, the dynamic performer and artist known for bringing punk rock to TV. Created by Alan Sacks (Du-Beat-E-O, Thrashin, Welcome Back Kotter) and narrated by punk historian and esteemed director Penelope Spheeris (The Decline of Western Civilization, Wayne’s World). Featured guests include Jello Biafra, Mark Mothersbaugh, Tequila Mockingbird, and Ron Howard. In episode one, now live, listeners will get to know Peter and his rise through LA’s punk and new wave scenes, and learn about Spheeris and Sacks’ personal connections to his story. Produced by Imagine Audio with producers from Awfully Nice, Shout! Studios and Alan Sacks Productions.

WHO: Narrator Penelope Spheeris is often referred to as a 'rock 'n roll anthropologist'. In 1974 she formed the first Los Angeles music video production company, ROCK 'N REEL. She concluded her music video work with the Grammy-nominated, "Bohemian Rhapsody" video for "Wayne's World". Spheeris' feature film debut was the 1979 documentary on the Los Angeles punk scene, "The Decline of Western Civilization" which was received with stunning and unanimous critical praise. In 1983 she wrote and directed "Suburbia", produced by Roger Corman. "Suburbia" won first place at the Chicago Film Festival. Almost 25 years later her documentary, "The Decline of Western Civilization, Part III" would eerily mirror the events she scripted in "Suburbia". In the mid-80s she directed "The Boys Next Door", starring Charlie Sheen and Maxwell Caulfield, then "Dudes" starring John Cryer, Flea, and Daniel Roebuck. Both films have attained cult classic status. "The Decline of Western Civilization, Part II: The Metal Years" was released in 1988. Commentaries from Ozzy Osbourne, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, Alice Cooper, Lemmy of Motorhead, Poison, etc. make it one of the most memorable pieces of rock film history. In 1992, Spheeris directed her seventh feature, and first studio film, "Wayne's World" at Paramount Pictures. Subsequently she directed and produced "The Beverly Hillbillies" (Fox), wrote and directed "The Little Rascals" (Universal), then directed "Black Sheep" (Paramount), etc. In 1999, Spheeris documented The Ozzfest, America's most successful summer concert tour, and the reunion performances of the original Black Sabbath. Both as director and one of the cinematographers, Spheeris achieved a remarkable and historic film which offers the audience a unique view of life on the road: "We Sold Our Souls For Rock 'N Roll".

Creator Alan Sacks’ impressive resume lists over 50 movies, TV shows, and theatrical productions he produced, wrote, and/or directed. Among his credits are co-creating Welcome Back Kotter, discovering John Travolta, launching the careers of the Jonas Brothers, and Demi Lovato in Camp Rock, producing Chico and the Man, and producing seven Disney Channel movies and series. He is well known for writing and producing Thrashin’, the skateboard movie, and creating The Daggers, the skate gang. He has won an Emmy, an NAACP Image Award, and a Humanities Prize in 2000 for his Disney Channel Movie, The Color of Friendship; a People’s Choice Award for Camp Rock in 2007; and a TV Land Award for Welcome Back Kotter in 2011. For the past two years he has been producing and hosting “Peter & The Acid King,” investigating the unsolved murder of his friend Peter Ivers. He was held at gunpoint by Phil Spector, got into a famous scuffle with John Lennon and Harry Nilsson at the Troubadour, and was unsuccessfully picked up by Janis Joplin at Barney’s Beanery.

WHEN: The first episode of the 10-part weekly series is available today, September 25, with new episodes releasing each Monday.

WHERE: “Peter and the Acid King” is distributed by iHeartPodcasts and is available on the iHeartRadio app and everywhere podcasts are heard.

  • Lenny Kravitz officially kicked off the show with his cover of The Guess Who's 1970 hit, "American Woman." The crowd cheered as Kravitz and his band launched into his next song "Fly Away," from his fifth studio album 5. Switching out his guitars, Kravitz then soothed the crowd with his hit "It Ain't Over 'til It's Over" from his 1991 sophomore album Mama Said. The rock icon then slowed down the tempo with his rock ballad "Believe" from the 1993 album Are You Gonna Go My Way. Kravitz continued with his song "Again."
  • TLC started with their top-charting cheater's anthem "Creep" with the support of a live band. The spirit of the late Lisa "LeftEye" Lopes was felt during their performances of "Ain't Too Proud" and "What About Your Friends." After they performed "No Scrubs", T-Boz and Chili paid homage to LeftEye right before they got into "Waterfalls."
  • Sheryl Crow kicked off her set with a 90s throwback “If It Makes You Happy,” featured on her self-titled project that made its debut mid-decade. She represented the same album with other fan-favorite highlights, including “A Change Would Do You Good,” and her epic finale, “Everyday Is A Winding Road.” Crow also performed “My Favorite Mistake,” and added a few early 2000s classics to the mix to complete her set list with “Real Gone” and “Soak Up The Sun.”
  • Bakar hit the stage during the M&M's Spotlight performance at T-Mobile Arena to perform "All Night" and "Hell n Back."
  • Lil Durk performed notable tracks like "Pelle Coat," "AHH HA," "Home Body," "Hellcats & Trackhawks" and his verse on DJ Khaled's "Every Chance I Get." Towards the end of his set, Lil Durk brought out J. Cole to perform their collaboration "All My Life" together for the first time ever.
  • Tim McGraw launched into an epic set with “How Bad Do You Want It,” firing up the Vegas crowd. McGraw delivered renditions of career-spanning anthems, including 90s country throwbacks and tracks from his latest full-length project, Standing Room Only. The country singer/songwriter unleashed his debut album in 1993, and in the last three decades, he’s become widely known for smash-hits throughout his career like “Something Like That,” “Real Good Man,” “Live Like You Were Dying” and others.
  • The multifaceted singer Miguel took over the stage as he played his guitar alongside his live band, performing some brand new music that might appear on his upcoming album Viscera. Later on, he delivered revitalizing versions of his classic songs like "Adorn," "How Many Drinks," "Sky Walker, "Sure Thing" and his recent hit with Diplo "Don't Forget My Love." Miguel also received the iHeartRadio Titanium Award, for his hit “Sure Thing,” awarded to artists who have reached a threshold of 1 billion total audience spins across iHeartRadio stations of their hit song in 2023.
  • Kane Brown had two big surprises up his sleeve during his set when he invited his wife, Katelyn Brown, out to sing "Thank God," followed by Khalid to help him sing their collab "Be Like That." Brown also performed his new Phil Collins-inspired single "I Can Feel It" for the first time.

Weezy kicked things off with "John" before he busted out various classics like "6 Foot 7 Foot," "A Milli," "Lollipop," "Blunt Blowin," "Rich As F**k," "Love Me" and his hit off Tha Carter V "Uproar." • Thirty Seconds to Mars performed a set full of fan favorites and new songs, then Jared Leto welcomed an Elvis Presley impersonator onto the stage to help the crowd let loose for their song "Stuck." They ended their set by bringing fans up on stage to rock out to one of their biggest hits "The Kill" from their second album A Beautiful Lie.
  • Kelly Clarkson performed her hits including “Stronger,” “Mine” and “Miss Independent.” She closed her set with one of her most iconic hit throughout her career, prompting an epic singalong with the crowd: "Since U Been Gone," an empowering anthem that appeared on her 12-track Breakaway album in 2004. Notably, Clarkson made a lyric swap at the end of “Since U Been Gone,” singing: "I'm so happy now that you’re gone."
