iHeartMedia Launches Educational Podcast Around COVID-19 Vaccines
In Partnership with the Department of Health and Human Services and Hosted by ABC’s “Good Morning America” anchor Robin Roberts, “COVID-19 Immunity in Our Community” will feature experts like Dr. Anthony Fauci and offers listeners trusted information on COVID-19 vaccines
NEW YORK (March 31, 2021) -- iHeartMedia, the No. 1 podcast publisher globally according to Podtrac, announced today the launch of “COVID-19 Immunity in Our Community,” an iHeartRadio Original limited podcast series produced in partnership with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to share timely and accurate information about COVID-19 vaccines. The show is hosted by iconic ABC News television broadcaster Robin Roberts and will join the iHeartPodcast Network’s expansive catalog of titles following its launch today. New episodes will be released every two weeks.
“COVID-19 Immunity in Our Community” will host leaders and experts such as Dr. Anthony Fauci and other highly respected voices in the medical and scientific communities. Designed to separate fact from fiction, “COVID-19 Immunity in Our Community” will arm listeners with the tools they need to make educated decisions about COVID-19 vaccines. The new podcast will also draw perspectives from Americans across different communities including health care workers, journalists, and skeptics, who each share their unique and personal experience with vaccination.
