Ethan Hawke Stars In The Serialized, Supernatural Podcast “Midnight Radio,” Created By Scott Derrickson And C. Robert Cargill
Additional cast includes Noah Centineo, Vincent D’Onofrio, Willa Fitzgerald, Levon Hawke, Austin Pendleton, Hubert Point-Du Jour and more
“Midnight Radio” is produced by Under The Influence Productions, Crooked Highway and iHeartPodcasts
NEW YORK AND LOS ANGELES – OCTOBER 13, 2026 – Five-time Academy Award®-nominee Ethan Hawke is set to star in a new, fantastical horror podcast, “Midnight Radio,” from the team behind SINISTER and THE BLACK PHONE franchise. The 9-episode series is created and co-written by Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill and produced by Under The Influence Productions, Crooked Highway and Mickey Schiff in collaboration with iHeartPodcasts. Hear a sneak peak of “Midnight Radio” now HERE.
Told in real-time through the framework of a cult-favorite late-night AM radio show, “Midnight Radio” will follow the titular show’s host (Hawke) whose eerie, conspiracy-themed call-in program takes a chilling turn. One night, he receives a call from a man claiming to be part of a secret U.S. space mission lost to history—just the first thread in a sprawling web of government cover-ups, interdimensional breaches and psychological warfare. As the broadcast unfolds, strange signals hidden in the radio static reveal themselves. With each episode building on the last, one question grows more urgent—who, or what, is really on the other end of the line? And what do they want?
Featuring a wide range of colorful call-in characters, the series will boast an incredible ensemble cast including Noah Centineo, Vincent D’Onofrio, Willa Fitzgerald, Levon Hawke, Austin Pendleton, Hubert Point-Du Jour and more.
“‘Midnight Radio’ is a labor of love, and an act of unfettered creativity,” shared Derrickson. “Ethan, Cargill and I decided to make this without any financial backing. Our aim was to make an eerie, complex and increasingly compelling narrative podcast with zero creative restrictions. ‘Midnight Radio’ has a purity to it –- it’s exactly what we wanted it to be. And now we're excited to be working with iHeart to bring it to listeners everywhere”
The first episode of “Midnight Radio” will be released October 22, 2026 and will be available on the iHeartRadio app and all major podcast platforms. New episodes will be released every succeeding Thursday at 12am PT / 3am ET.
“None of us had made a podcast before, so it was a blast to pour ourselves completely into a venture where we had total creative freedom,” said Hawke. “There’s an intimacy to the audio-only medium that can be really powerful, and in our case, used to a terrifying effect. Of course, it requires great writing… Fortunately, Scott Derrickson and Cargill are two of the best writers I’ve ever worked with.”
Ethan and Ryan Hawke's Under the Influence Productions is producing, with UTIP's Jimmy Bie leading for the company, alongside Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill's Crooked Highway and Mickey Schiff. The team is independently cofinancing the project. Vince Cheng, President of Production for Crooked Highway, is overseeing the release. The project is repped by CAA and WME. The series will be distributed by iHeartPodcasts.
Emma Klipstein’s Hit Podcast “too much.” Joins iHeartPodcasts
After independently launching and building the show from the ground up, the media personality and entrepreneur today brings “too much.” to iHeartPodcasts
NEW YORK – OCTOBER 13, 2026 – Media personality, entrepreneur and creator Emma Klipstein today announced that her hit podcast “too much.” has joined iHeartPodcasts, the No.1 podcast publisher globally according to Podtrac, marking a major milestone for a show she launched independently from the ground up in January 2025.
Following her departure from “Unhinged,” the podcast she had co-hosted since 2023, Klipstein made the decision to start over and build something entirely her own. Without a network, production company or team behind her, she launched “too much.” and became a one-woman operation — developing the concept, building the brand, booking guests, producing episodes and driving the social strategy that would ultimately grow the show into a breakout platform. Less than two years later, that independent bet landed “too much.” at iHeartPodcasts.
Emma's always been told she's too much and she's done apologizing for it. From NY to LA and back again, she's lived a thousand lives and if there's anything she's learned, it's to be unapologetically yourself. Every Tuesday, Emma will get raw and real about everything from f*ckups and breakups, thriving (and surviving) in your 20s and 30s to how to be the best version of yourself and so much more.
“There is something incredibly surreal about building this show from the ground up and now getting to say that ‘too much.’ is an iHeartPodcast,” said Klipstein. “When I started over in January 2025, there was no guarantee any of this was going to work. I just knew I had something to say and was willing to bet on myself enough to build it. To go from wearing every hat because I had to, to having the largest podcast network behind the show feels like proof that sometimes starting over isn’t actually starting from zero — it’s starting with everything you learned the first time.”
Known for her quick wit, brutal honesty, relatability and signature “unapologetic big sister advice,” Klipstein has built a devoted digital following of nearly 900,000, with her content garnering more than 250 million views in 18 months. On “too much.,” she blends humor, vulnerability and sharp cultural commentary to tackle modern dating, relationships, trauma, confidence, adult friendships and the realities of building a career and life on your own terms.
The partnership with iHeartPodcasts marks the next stage of “too much.” as Klipstein continues expanding the show and the larger media brand around it.
“For so much of my life, ‘too much’ was something I thought I needed to fix about myself,” Klipstein added. “This show turned it into the thing that built my career. The thing you’re being told to make smaller might actually be the thing you’re supposed to build bigger.”
“too much.” with Emma Klipstein is now distributed by iHeartPodcasts. New episodes are released weekly and are available on the iHeartRadio app and everywhere podcasts are heard. Video episodes will be available on iHeart and YouTube.

Her work has garnered coverage from more than 75 publications, and beginning in 2027, Emma will expand into true crime with a new podcast in partnership with PAVE Studios under its Crime House brand.

iHeartPodcasts Announces “Basketball, Etc.,” a New Weekly Podcast Exploring the Stories, People and Culture Behind the Game
Hosted by basketball journalist Claire de Lune, the new series offers a fresh take on basketball storytelling, with a 30-episode debut season launching October 6
NEW YORK – September 29, 2026 – iHeartPodcasts, the No. 1 podcast publisher according to Podtrac, today announced “Basketball, Etc.,” a new weekly podcast hosted by established basketball journalist Claire de Lune. The series will blend long-form narrative storytelling with intimate conversations exploring the characters and cultural moments that make basketball more than a game. Produced by iHeartPodcasts in conjunction with Life Here Is Grand and School of Humans, “Basketball, Etc.” will launch October 6 with new episodes on Tuesdays.
Claire de Lune is a Los Angeles-based NBA writer, creator and lifelong musician known for blending informed basketball analysis with sharp wit, pop culture and human-centered storytelling. She currently serves as a national NBA writer for The Guardian, covering the league with a focus on the people and stories behind the game.
“I live and breathe basketball, and consume a ton of content about it,” said host and show creator Claire de Lune. “But I was really craving a show that dug into the kind of niche, interesting stories on the fringes of the sport, and did so with a level of nuance and empathy. When I realized that show didn’t really exist, I decided to make it myself.”
“‘Basketball, Etc.’ is for people like me, who love basketball, but don’t really find that the shouting-match debate shows or extensive breakdowns of player salaries and analytics are resonating with them,” continued de Lune. “I fell in love with sports because of the human stories at the center of them. Partnering with iHeartPodcasts gives me an opportunity to bring these stories and this different style of sports coverage to the masses, which I couldn’t be more excited for.”
The debut season will feature conversations and stories with guests including Flea, Nick Wright, Desus Nice, Kazeem Famuyide and Eve Peyser. Episodes will feature topics exploring the relationship between art, philosophy and the Los Angeles Lakers; LeBron James’ defining 23 moments in 23 years; the secret life of NBA mascots; the story of Lenny Cooke (featuring Carmelo Anthony); women’s professional basketball in the 1970s; the ups and downs of Knicks fandom; Connie Hawkins and basketball justice; and more.
The first episode, “Meditation & Mindfulness in Basketball,” uses a familiar sight on the court as a jumping off point: players pausing and centering themselves before taking a free throw. De Lune will examine how often professional basketball players practice meditation and mindfulness, both intentionally and unintentionally, and uncover surprising connections between these mental practices and performance on the court.
“Basketball, Etc.” offers a different take on the game, moving beyond the debate-driven coverage that often dominates sports media to explore the unexpected corners of basketball culture with depth, joy and curiosity," said Will Pearson, President of iHeartPodcasts. “It’s a show for longtime fans and anyone who loves great storytelling, and we’re excited to welcome Claire and ‘Basketball, Etc.’ to the iHeartPodcasts lineup.”
“Basketball, Etc.” is distributed by iHeartPodcasts and will be available on the iHeartRadio app and everywhere podcasts are heard beginning October 6.

iHeartMedia Announces “Big Kick Energy with Cameron Dicker and Timothy Tillman,” a New Podcast Bridging the Worlds of Football and Soccer
The weekly series, premiering September 11, breaks down the biggest moments across soccer and football through the lens of two active pros
NEW YORK – September 8, 2026 – iHeartPodcasts, the No. 1 podcast publisher according to Podtrac, today announced “Big Kick Energy with Cameron Dicker and Timothy Tillman,” a new weekly sports podcast hosted by Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker, who holds the highest career field-goal percentage in NFL history, and Los Angeles Football Club midfielder Timothy Tillman. The series will premiere Friday, September 11, with new episodes available every Friday on the iHeartRadio app and wherever podcasts are heard.
Built for fans who love all forms of football, the podcast brings together two professional athletes from opposite sides of the sports world for candid conversations and expert analysis spanning soccer, football and the culture surrounding both. From the pressure of a game-winning field goal to the tension of a penalty kick, Dicker and Tillman will break down the technique, mentality and moments that can decide a match in seconds.
“I am so excited about the launch of ‘Big Kick Energy’. Soccer was the first sport I fell in love with growing up, and ultimately it’s what led me to kicking and my career in the NFL,” said Dicker. “This podcast gives me the opportunity to come full circle and share my true passion for the game of soccer, while hopefully giving something back to the sport that has given me so much. I’m excited to blend my love for soccer and football in one place, share some fun stories, and have conversations with great guests from across the game. What better way to grow your fandom than to learn not only how the game works, but more importantly, about the people who make it what it is.”
With access and perspective shaped by their careers at the highest levels of their respective sports, Dicker and Tillman will take listeners beyond the highlights each week. The duo will react to the biggest storylines across the global game, unpack what fans may miss from the stands and bring listeners inside the experiences of professional athletes, all through the perspective of two lifelong fans who simply love talking ball.
"For me, soccer has always been about more than just what happens on the field,” said Tillman. “It’s brought me so many great experiences, friendships, and memories, and has taught me a lot about teamwork, discipline, resilience, and being part of something bigger. But most importantly, soccer should be fun. That’s what we want to bring to this podcast. Good vibes, real conversations, great guests, and a love for the game, while making soccer more accessible and fun for everyone."
Dicker, the most accurate kicker in NFL history, brings a rare perspective to the show. Raised in Shanghai, China, where he developed a lifelong love of soccer, Dicker went on to become one of the NFL’s premier specialists. Now with the Los Angeles Chargers, his understanding of kicking mechanics and performing under pressure gives him a unique lens on the defining moments of both sports. Away from the field, he remains an avid soccer supporter who has spent years following the game from the stands.
Tillman brings the perspective of a player shaped by soccer on two continents. After developing in Germany’s elite youth system, including time with Bayern Munich, he built his professional career in Germany before joining the Los Angeles Football Club in Major League Soccer. As a midfielder, Tillman brings first-hand insight from inside the locker room, on the training ground and under the stadium lights, pairing technical analysis with the perspective of someone who grew up as a fan before becoming a professional.
"We’re not just making a sports show, we’re blowing the doors off what a sports show can be,” said Leo Gomez, Head of the iHeart Soccer Network. “Two iconic young voices. Two leagues. Two massive fanbases. One stage, coming together to celebrate soccer. That only happens because soccer culture is getting bigger, louder, and more undeniable every day. This show isn’t just part of that growth... it’s the receipt"
“Big Kick Energy with Cameron Dicker and Timothy Tillman” is distributed by iHeartPodcasts and will be available on the iHeartRadio app and everywhere podcasts are heard on September 11.

In the wide-ranging conversation, Treyger and Klenk get Stamos talking about everything from his memorable role on SVU to his decades-long history performing with the Beach Boys. Stamos also reveals the Full House memorabilia he’s held onto—including the iconic Tanner family couch.
Treyger and Klenk also dig into Stamos’ real-life fascination with true crime and his interest in taking on darker characters—sharing the role he’d like to tackle next: “I want to play a cult leader.” Stamos also tells the hosts that he has acquired the rights to a Dateline story for a project currently in development.
