Listen to the first two episodes – HERE

WHAT: Premiering today, “Sixteenth Minute (of Fame)” is a weekly show hosted by Jamie Loftus that takes a closer look at the internet’s main characters – one part reported, one part interviews and one part Loftus collapsing her permanently internet-damaged brain. Whether it’s an enduring meme or a dreaded Character of the Day distinction, it’s the kind of notoriety that often results in little money, unwarranted attention and a confusing blurred line of consent. This new podcast from iHeartMedia’s Cool Zone Media will dive deep into viral internet culture and explore the question: “What do you do when you get more attention and judgment than any one person is built to handle?” Listeners will tune-in to “Sixteenth Minute (of Fame)” each week to hear what “viral” really feels like from the people who have been frozen inside an often unintended sensational internet moment.

WHEN: Listen to “Sixteenth Minute (of Fame)” today, May 7,2024 with new episodes every Tuesday.

WHERE: “Sixteenth Minute (of Fame)” is distributed by iHeartPodcasts and available now on the iHeartRadio app and everywhere podcasts are heard.

WHO: Jamie Loftus is the Emmy-nominated, Webby-winning comedian and podcaster behind shows like “The Bechdel Cast,” “My Year in Mensa,” “Lolita Podcast,” and “Ghost Church.” Her debut book “Raw Dog: A Naked History of Hot Dogs” was a New York Times and Indie bestseller, and she most recently served as a writer and co-producer on “Star Trek: Lower Decks” and “Teenage Euthanasia.” She has one baby tooth left for some reason.

Highlights from this year’s festival include:

  • Old Dominion kicked off the 2024 iHeartCountry Festival with an electric performance of some of their biggest hits “Song For Another Time,” “Hotel Key,” and more. Old Dominion brought out Ashley Cooke to sing “Can't Break Up Now,” a duet they wrote with Megan Moroney.
  • Ashley McBryde had the crowd singing along to her hits “Blackout Betty,” “One Night Standards,” “Light on in the Kitchen,” and “The Devil I Know.”
  • Brothers Osborne got the crowd on their feet and clapping their hands to a career-spanning set including “Stay A Little Longer,” “Ain't My Fault” and 2024 hit, “Break Mine.”
  • Walker Hayes performed his hits “AA,” “Fancy Like” and more. He debuted his new limited-time men's collection with JCPenney during his performance. The collection, Walker Hayes for JCPenney features upbeat clothing with down-home vibes for guys who like to keep style simple. The collection is available now online at jcpenney.com and in select stores on May 16.
  • Keith Urban instantly stole the show with world-renowned hits including “Somebody Like You,” “Blue Ain't Your Color,” and “Wasted Time” as he went out into the crowd of Moody Center to sing with fans. He also showed off his epic guitar skills in only a way Keith Urban could.
  • Riley Green kept the party going with “Damn Good Day To Leave” and “Hell Of A Way To Go.” The artist sang his most recent hit, “Worst Way,” released last month and brought it back to 2018 with his first #1 on Country Radio, “There Was This Girl.” The lights dimmed and his set concluded with “I Wish Grandpas Never Died,” as sweet photos of Green and his grandpa flashed on the screen behind him.
  • Lady A immediately brought the heat with an arena lit in red as they kicked off their set with legendary hit, “Hey Bartender.” The iconic trio also performed fan-favorites “American Honey,” “We Owned The Night,” and “Need You Now.” Just when fans thought their set was over, the legends came back out for an encore performance of “What If I Never Get Over You,” as the live audience, and those watching from home around the world, sang along in awe.
  • Jelly Roll sang his first #1 on Country Radio “Son Of A Sinner,” “Need a Favor,” and more. He closed out his set with a profound speech thanking his fans and iHeartRadio for changing his life then performed his hit single, “Save Me.”
  • Jason Aldean tore up the stage with some of his most iconic singles, starting with “My Kind Of Party.” The standout continued with “Trouble With A Heartbreak,” “Let Your Boys Be Country,” and took it all the way back to 2005 with the hit that started it all, “Hicktown.” He even brought out John Morgan, a new artist on the scene, to sing his latest single, “Friends Like That,” featuring Aldean. Nate Silver & Maria Konnikova Announce New Podcast “Risky Business” From Pushkin Industries and iHeartPodcasts

A weekly show about making good decisions — in poker, in politics, and in your everyday life — from two people who have won and lost on the biggest stages

Listen to the to the official trailer now, HERE

NEW YORK – May 1, 2024 – Maria Konnikova and Nate Silver are both journalists who moonlight as high-stakes poker players. On their new weekly podcast "Risky Business" — out May 16, 2024 from Pushkin Industries and iHeartPodcasts — they will bring their analytical framework to everything from politics to poker to everyday decisions. Put simply: "Risky Business" is a show about making good decisions. Listeners can hear the official trailer now, here, and follow the show for new episode alerts.

“When you play high-stakes poker you don’t just learn how to play cards, you learn how to think about the world,” Konnikova explains. “You learn a clear, useful framework for making all kinds of hard decisions. In 'Risky Business' we’ll help listeners understand this framework and learn to apply it to the decisions in their own lives.”

The two friends bring a wealth of experience to the podcast. Maria has a doctorate in psychology and is the author of several books including, most recently, "The Biggest Bluff." While researching the book, she inadvertently became a professional poker player with over $500,000 in tournament winnings. Nate is the founder and former editor-in-chief of political and statistical analysis site FiveThirtyEight, and one of the country’s leading election forecasters. He has over $800,000 in lifetime poker tournament winnings and his forthcoming book, "On the Edge," is about gambling and risk.

Both Nate and Maria will be competing at the World Series of Poker this year. But, "Risky Business" isn’t just about poker, of course. Nate will also bring his expertise as a statistician and forecaster to the 2024 U.S. presidential election.

“We'll talk about the probabilities as well as tactics and strategy around politics and current events,” he adds. “How do things like expected value or game theory affect the decisions that impact all of our lives?”

Plus, listeners will learn how to apply the very same concepts to making good decisions in their everyday lives — from which car to buy or college to attend to what time to leave for the airport.

"Risky Business with Nate Silver & Maria Konnikova" is produced by Pushkin Industries and distributed by iHeartPodcasts. New episodes will be released each Thursday starting May 16, 2024 on the iHeartRadio app and everywhere podcasts are available.

Big or small, they are there for each other. And, what does that look like? A thousand pep talks. A Million “I’ve got yous.” Some urgent “I’m coming overs”… Laughing through the tears and problem-solving over glasses of rosé… okay, sometimes it takes tequila! Because, let’s face it, life can get even crazier than a season finale of “Grey’s Anatomy!” Now Jessica and Camilla are opening up the friendship circle to YOU! Someone’s Cheating? They got you on that. In-laws are in-lawing? Let’s get into it. Toxic friendships? Air it out. They’re on your side to help you with your concerns, talk about theirs and every once in a while bring on an awesome guest to get their take on the things that you bring them. While they may be unlicensed to advise, they’re gonna do it anyway!
